Kind Hearts is a children’s book by children from Syrian families in County Wexford. It’s a stunning celebration of identity and belonging. With funding from Dormant Accounts the book grew from a collaboration between WLD, Wexford Library Service, Kids Own Publishers and, most importantly, the children themselves who provided their amazing stories and artwork. Artists Sarah Fuller and Helen Flanagan worked with the children over 8 weeks in 2021 and Kind Hearts was launched in Wexford Library on 1^st October by An Cathaoirleach of Wexford County Council Cllr. George Lawlor.
