2013 has been a busy year for Wexford Education Network, we held our Seminar and AGM on 10th April 2013 in the Talbot Hotel. More than 160 people turned out at the Talbot Hotel to hear Dr Fergus Heffernan a renowned psychologist and psychotherapist, speaking on building self – esteem with young people and mental health. Dr. Heffernan brought the audience on an engaging and interesting journey through the ups and downs of living in family groups communicating with each other an how our family relationships define us. Those attending said the presentation was excellent and very engaging.

Wexford Education Network also held a Seminar in the Ashdown Hotel in Gorey, on 7th May 2013. More that 110 people attended the Seminar to hear Dr. Fergus Heffernan speaking on building self-esteem with young people. The people who attended the Seminar all agreed that they would like to have more talks and Seminars in Gorey. To that end WEN are planning to invite Dermot Rafter, a behaviour support specialist, to give a two evening workshop style event for parents of teenagers in September in Gorey.
WEN are also planning to hold a Seminar ( Keynote speaker Dr. Fergus Heffernan) in New Ross in September
