Wexford Local Community Development Committee are working in partnership with Wexford Local Development and Wexford County Council to deliver the next LEADER Programme, which will be worth over €9.8 million to Co. Wexford between now and 2020, under the 3 LEADER themes of Job Creation; Rural Environment and Communities & Social Inclusion.

 

We are now drafting a countywide plan – a Local Development Strategy – for the next LEADER Programme. This plan will identify the priorities for the LEADER Programme over the next 5 years. As part of the development of this plan we are inviting people to a series of public workshops which will be held throughout Co. Wexford over the coming weeks. These workshops will give you the opportunity to highlight what you think should be the priorities for Co. Wexford under the LEADER Programme and to input into the Local Development Strategy.

 

The details of the workshops are:

Talbot Hotel, Wexford	Monday 21st September
Amber Springs Hotel, Gorey	Wednesday 23rd September
Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorthy	Monday 28th September
Millrace Hotel, Bunclody	Wednesday 30th September
Brandon House Hotel, New Ross	Monday 5th October

7:30-8:00       Presentations on LEADER

8:00-8:45       Round table discussions on the next LEADER Programme

8:45-9:00       Feedback

9:00                Opportunities to meet staff informally to discuss your project ideas.
