At the Gala Awards Ceremony in Clayton Whites Hotel, Wexford on 27th May 2016, the winner was announced as Morriscastle Strand Holiday Park, while the runner-up was Kia Ora Mini Farm. Niamh Darcy of Morriscastle Strand Holiday Park was thrilled to accept the award from WLD Chief Executive Officer, Mr Brian Kehoe.

Morriscastle Strand Holiday Park is a high quality four star touring caravan and camping site and private mobile home site located beside the magnificent blue flag beach of Morriscastle, near Kilmuckridge. Kia Ora Mini Farm located between Gorey and Courtown Harbour was established in 1991 by Maura & Patrick O Donohoe. In 1998, their son Padraig joined the business on a full time basis.
