
The Cornmarket Project provides accessible, free, confidential services to people with substance misuse and antisocial behavioural issues and to young people at risk from a wide range of issues. We also work with family members who are affected by addiction related issues.
The activities of the Cornmarket Project include:
Konnecting.u Service - a signposting project for young people at risk in County Wexford between the ages of twelve and twenty-five years. The project supports vulnerable young people by linking them to the relevant voluntary, community or statutory agencies most appropriate to address their needs.
Counselling Service - a free, confidential counselling service for people dealing with addiction related and other behavioural issues.
Stabilisation Programme - a day programme for those dealing with their addiction and anti-social behaviourial issues. The programme aims to support participants to address their behaviour and/or substance misuse and to reintegrate them into a stabilised lifestyle.
Training and Rehabilitation Programme – a training and rehabilitation programme is a FAS CE scheme whose participants are moving from drug dependency into further training and employment.
Outreach Service - a community-based service designed to support those who are initially unable to make contact with appropriate services.
Drop-in Service - a low threshold intervention service for those who need support to make positive behavioural changes.
Family Support Service - a support group for the family members of those with addiction related issues.
Complimentary Therapies - a range of intervention supports designed to compliment existing services aimed at facilitating positive behavioural change i.e. acupuncture, massage etc.
