The official opening of Templeudigan Park will take place at 12:15 on Sunday 21st September.

Templeudigan Park includes a children’s playground, adult exercise area, a small walking track and a picnic area. It was designed by local architectural firm Joe Fallon Design and developed by Templeudigan Parish Council. Construction work started in November 2013 and continued until July.

Wexford Local Development were delighted to assist this rural community to develop Templeudigan Park by providing a grant of €80,000 under the LEADER programme. Templeudigan is a small rural community but they have developed one of the finest parks and playgrounds in Co. Wexford. This is a great example of how an area with a strong sense of community spirit and a committee of active volunteers can really develop their locality.
