Over the Summer months of 2015, we are running a series of Community Education short courses in Enniscorthy town. News on similar courses across the rest of the county will be coming soon.
Our courses aim to offer a range of opportunities to residents of local communities in Enniscorthy town. All of the workshops and courses will be delivered free of charge, locally in Community Centres, or in our training room on Mill Park Road.
Wexford Local Development supports adults and young people in the area who wish to develop their skills by offering a range of supports. These vary from short workshops and educational opportunities, to personal action planning, information, employment guidance, accredited training and work placements. We are always interested in hearing what type of courses you would like us to run locally. Our Autumn series of courses are now being planned.
We hope there is something for everyone, whatever your interests or goals & we especially welcome anyone who has never done a course before.

Safety In The Home
This 3 hour workshop will cover basic household First Aid, including the safe storage of household chemicals, the contents of your First Aid kit; applying simple dressings and other useful advice; a must for families with young children.

CV & Job Search Clinic. If you’ve just left school or are looking for your first job then this is the two-hour workshop for you. Practical advice on developing your CV and searching for employment.

Beginners Internet & Email

Applying Online for a Student Grant
This two-session course will practically guide you through SUSI – applying for a higher education grant. Open to parents and/or students. Covers PLC and further third level courses
