Supports to Unemployed People
Wexford Local Development provides a number of services and supports to unemployed people, ranging from one-to-one guidance to training to small business and enterprise support. We also work to link unemployed people to community supports as participants in programmes, volunteers and community leaders. We work closely with agencies such as FÁS, the Department of Social Protection and Co Wexford VEC as well as other providers to ensure that job seekers can avail of a wide range of tailored and relevant services to maximise their own employment prospects and maintain a positive outlook in their search for work.
