MAGIC Programme The Magic programme is a transfer programme for sixth class students transferring to second level education. The programme is delivered by trained volunteers in primary schools across Co.Wexford. The programme is rolled out over a 6 week period and addresses the myriad of issues that young people deal with in their transfer form primary to secondary education.

Anti Bullying Programme Wexford Education Network has recently devised an in schools "Anti bullying" programme delivered as part of the Junior Cert SPHE syllabus over a 4 week period. Students explore the concept of bullying and address the issues of what bullying is, emotions around bullying, cyber bullying, homophobic bullying, dealing with bullying and promoting a bully free environment in schools. The programme is delivered by WLD staff and is currently being evaluated.

Meitheal Programme www.meitheal.org 

Meitheal is a mentoring programme for students in secondary schools in County Wexford. In this programme a team of senior students are trained to become mentors for incoming first year students. It is a programme based on pro-respect and trust between students and one that enables students to take responsibility for the happiness of others and for the safety and well-being of all who share a school environment more info

Adult Education Grundtvig European Transnational Project WLD is a partner organisation in a European transnational Adult Education programme with partners from Germany, Poland and Greece. The local WLD group is the Circle of Friends group from Kilmuckridge. The project is in its second year and the local group has embarked on a healthy living communities work programme. The overall project is called EDUSERF, Education through Serious Fun and is a tremendous success with participants.
