Increasingly all business is conducted online and it is no different for the voluntary sector, any volunteer or group who do not have IT skills run the risk of being left behind. The objective of this training is to provide members of voluntary groups with basic IT skills, creating documents, file management, internet , e-mail and mouse skills. These skills will assist officers and committee members with meeting minutes, basic accounts, letter writing, report writing and communication by e-mail.
Basic IT is for any voluntary group member who is interested in learning about computers and how to use them for the benefit of their community group.
Basic IT for Community Groups will run for 3 hours per week on Thursday nights for 6 weeks starting on Thursday 12 October 2017 at 7pm.
Places are limited to 10 participants and two places per community group
